'HISTORIC BYWARD MARKET' WALKING TOUR (1.5 hours)
Join our guide for an enchanted walking tour through the many cobblestone courtyards of the historic ByWard Market. We will take your group back in time to the mid-1800’s and provide the many stories and anecdotes of the market which continues today as a hub of activity including unique shops, restaurants and a year-round, open-air farmers’ market.
'PARLIAMENT HILL' WALKING TOUR (1.5 hours)One of the most photographed and well-known sites in Canada is Parliament Hill, home of Canada’s federal government and a symbol of our parliamentary democracy. This outdoor walking tour explores the grounds of Parliament Hill as our guide outlines more of its history and provides anecdotes about former Prime Ministers whose statues are located throughout the grounds.
'STORY OF OTTAWA' WALKING TOUR (1.5 hours)
This walking tour tells some of the story of Ottawa as the group makes its way through the core of the downtown area past the Fairmont Château Laurier Hotel, Ottawa’s former train station, the National War Memorial, and Parliament Hill. The tour concludes with a walk down the Sparks Street Mall and the story of the murder of Darcy McGee, a former Member of Parliament and Cabinet Minister.
